I was gonna recommend Geneva to you! Bow windows instead of square? So the bend with the curve of the trunk? Ala Georgian? I have plant pots? Miniature of course. I have to finish up my dollhouse but I could send some things along…
Isn't it gorgeous? So cosy and comforting. Thank you for saying that Frances! It'll be lovely to see this come to life, I'd love to keep sharing the process.
My wife and I both have our dollhouse minis (well mine were bears not dolls) from childhood and when our daughter was little we started setting up little vignettes for Christmas time.
She’s in her twenties now and we still do it —each person gets a windowsill and decides a theme and they stay up a month or so.
They’ve gotten crazy elaborate and we have so much fun with it!
Oh my goodness this is amazing!! Haha i love that they’ve become more elaborate. I can totally see how it would be easy to layer on extravagance . Would love to see pictures sometime!
Weirdly I typed out a response and added a link to my IG post (I think they are viewable without IG) and now it’s disappeared—of course I’m thinking maybe I posted it somewhere random in substack 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
Might try again after coffee or might just send you an email 😂
Aw my mum had Brambly Hedge plates mounted on the wall in our living room when I was a child ☺️ and I'm pretty sure i have a book for sewing the little figurines... I'll maybe dig it out and spark the imagination ✨️ thank you for the nudge x

I would love that!! No rush, this one is going to take some time, haha. Ooh interesting, re: windows, I'll look into it. xx
I love Brambley Hedge too, and making a tree house sounds wonderful! I hope you'll keep sharing how it's going here, I'd love to see!

I was just trying to explain this to my husband and was so excited I could barely form a sentence! He doesn't know about Brambley Hedge...
Oh I couldn’t love this more. 💕That’s just so sweet. Thank you for sharing my excitement.
Oh what fun!

Keeley, this is beautifully wholesome! Something I would adore to do myself too, at some point ✨ Just magical!x
Maybe you and your little one could do it in years to come! xx
I thought exactly that! Or a maternity project for her nursery xx
That might be a lovely outlet for you. Even if you started on little furnishings. Eee. If you do, please send me pics. xx
Yes! And of course ✨ I can’t wait to see how yours comes along too xx
