Words & pictures are such a power couple. But seriously, thank you for taking the time to see each piece in its own right & then together. Thank you Madeline. 🤍

This is also a good reminder for me when I catch myself judging someone else. I don't know what's written on their scrolls.

This was a real awakening for me in recent years. Understanding that people’s actions and reactions are a result of their stories and not mine. It helps me to view the world from a place of compassion rather than fear and judgement. Your artwork, for me, represents the fragility and beauty of our stories and reminds me to tread carefully within the pages of others stories. Lovely piece - thank you for sharing.

This post allowed me to settle into my body and breathe. Beautiful intersection of visuals and words. We are indeed made of stories and the more we share them with each other the faster we support one another's healing. Thank you!

Wow Mary I think that’s one of the loveliest things I’ve heard someone say about my work. Sharing our stories (safely) is so key to healing I couldn’t agree more. Thank you so much for reading & saying hi.

What a beautiful post Keeley, it especially resonates as I’ve opened my last two letters with a short poem (there, I used the word!). There’s a delight to be had in playing with the form of words. The images are exquisite, all the more so for the insight into the scrolls’ making. Threads, memory, connections woven… Love it!
